Loved the Construction Sensory Bin

I just received the Construction Sensory Bin and it's fantastic! My little one was immediately drawn to all the different textures and tools. The quality of everything was really impressive, much better than I expected. It kept him busy for so long, and I didn't have to come up with any ideas myself. I'm so glad I ordered this one. I will absolutely be buying more kits from them soon!

Detailed review of the Space Kit

I purchased the Space Messy Play Kit for my five-year-old. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. It took 6 days to arrive in Pennsylvania, which was within the estimated window. The packaging was sturdy, and all components were well-organized inside. The kit included different colored water beads, some small plastic planets, and a squishy alien toy. The instructions in the Educational Activity Guide were clear and easy to follow. We used it over a weekend, and the materials held up well. My son particularly enjoyed the water beads and how they felt. The only thing I'd note is that some of the smaller pieces could be a choking hazard for younger kids, so supervision is definitely needed. Overall, a solid product that delivered on its promise of creative play.

Consistent quality, returning customer

This was my third purchase from Messy Play Kits, this time getting the Slime Kit. I've previously bought the Bug Messy Play Kit and a Monthly Messy Play Subscription Box. As always, the quality was consistent. The slime kit was easy to make, and the ingredients were all there. My kids always look forward to these kits because they know they'll have a good time with them. The shipping speed was about the same as my last orders, arriving within a week. I keep coming back because I know what to expect, and they deliver reliable, fun activities every time.

Fun, but missing one tool

I got the Monthly Messy Play Subscription Box for my daughter. The activities were engaging and the materials seemed high quality. She really enjoyed the kinetic sand and the washable paint. My only minor issue was that the Sensory Bin Tools set I ordered with it was missing one of the scoops. Customer service was helpful when I reached out, and they sent a replacement right away. It's a bit pricey, but the convenience and educational value are good.

Great value for a first kit

I was looking for something engaging for my nephew and found Messy Play Kits. I used a first-time buyer offer on the Unicorn Messy Play Kit, which made the price very reasonable. It arrived in about a week. The kit itself was packed with different activities, and he spent hours playing with it. For the price I paid, it felt like a real bargain. I'd definitely consider buying another one, especially if there's another good deal.

I'm looking at Messy Play Kits for my kids, but also considering KiwiCo. Anyone have experience with both and can tell me which one they liked better?

J Josh C. 1 month ago
I've tried both! Messy Play Kits are definitely more focused on sensory stuff and less structured, which my youngest loves. KiwiCo is great too, but more about building and experiments. Depends what your kids are into.

KiwiCo felt a bit more 'educational' with clear projects. Messy Play Kits are just that - messy! But in a good way. If you want open-ended play and don't mind some clean up, Messy Play is awesome. For a more 'craft project' vibe, KiwiCo might be better.

how long do these usually take to ship? thinking of ordering a birthday kit for next month, need to make sure it gets here.

B Brandon Mitchell 1 week ago
My subscription boxes usually ship around the middle of the month, like the 15th-ish. For a one-off kit, I got mine in about a week last time.

They usually ship pretty quick, within a few days of ordering. You should definitely get it in time for next month. My last order got here in like 4-5 business days.

Hey everyone, thinking of getting a subscription for my niece but she's only 2. Are these kits actually safe for toddlers?

S Sandra B. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I use them for my 3-year-old and they're great. The materials are supposed to be non-toxic, so that's a plus.

I've seen some of the kits and for a 2-year-old, you'd probably need to supervise super closely. Some of the smaller bits might be a choking hazard if they still put everything in their mouth. They do say they're safe but use your judgment.

Anyone know if you can use more than one coupon code at checkout? Got a free shipping code and a percentage off code.

K Kyle Thompson 1 day ago
Nah, I tried that last month. They only let you use one code at a time.

Pretty sure they don't allow stacking coupons. Most places don't. Just pick the one that saves you the most money, usually the percentage off is better than free shipping unless it's a huge order.
